Another year, another lecturer who couldn't switch on an iPhone has us making blogs because this is the future. Where ever this world is headed you can be sure a multitude of unreviewed, uncited personal blogs will be there to track and judge its progress. I confidently make the prediction this blog will not be there. This blog will exist to satisfy my lecturer's petty demands and then peter out, becoming another relic in the vast, uninteresting wasteland of these webpages dead.
For a personal update on my life, I'm beginning to consider that hope is less important that what might be termed, not hope, that is, it is worse to not hope that you will fail than to hope that you succeed. Indeed, in trying with commit to hope, it might be better to not try, and so not hope, than to not try, yet still hope. Secondly, in studying, the great expansion of knowledge we gain is truly only that we get a greater and greater perspective of just how much we do not.
