This blog doesn't seem to be working. I really have nothing to say. Its a directionless, meandering ramble with no insite or interest saturated in a heavy cynicism everyone is so bored of in themselves so why would they read it. I got a book today The Observer's Book of London. Its a small, little book of 192 pages, with pictures, that covers everything you might see in London, with pictures. I will read this book, its appealing. Its a self-contained complete work that I can open straight to the page on St. Pauls if I want, or read cover to cover. I'm sure there are many blogs that deal with the same topic, and would be much more up to date. But this currentness of the blog is also why they don't appeal to me. Reading a blog, you are generally reading the most current entry, there's nothing tangible about the blog as a complete work. To find old articles you must sift through undefined pages or search for crude terms. The blog post isn't a statement but an offering. A sacrifice to be burned in the hope of being noticed by the statistical God. Its not got the care of something commisoned, something that could be cited. For the aspirational blog the hope is an obscure search term may lead a reader to your blog and help grow your hive. For the successful blog content generation is to give a fleeting audience keen and find a way to capitalise day to day or week to week on your work, or find a way to maintain it around a 'real' job.

I think I'll update my poems a bit tonight.
